I’ve spoken to my commissioners in the parking lot after a city council meeting. I’ve spoken before the whole commission at other meetings. I’ve run for office on the platform of ridding our city of this tragic mistake made over 70 years ago. It’s difficult to fathom how each new batch of commissioners seem unable to grasp the science. They and their predecessors have been pushing this poison on their constituents seemingly without the intelligence to grasp that it is harmful to health in a myriad of ways. Good work ladies, keep fighting, run for office. I think the only way we’ll ever get rid of this insidious injustice is from the inside.
